You're ready, <player>? Good. I do not know what lies beneath, but if you have any Gifted allies, I recommend you call upon them now. Go now, Saris - and save New Trismus from the horrors that await below.


You have successfully entered the tunnels. Go and find what lies beneath.

Ryson was right! The Maggot Lord lies suspended in a half-corporeal state. The spell is underway! You must stop it or all is lost.

Uddorakh the Ritual Master shouts, 'Gifted! What brings you here? Face your death! The Lord will rise!'

You've done it! The figment of the Maggot Lord is gone. The magic in the air disperses. You are victorious.


Step: Return to Guard-Captain Zandra

Oh, <player>! Not once, but twice, you have done the impossible. I cannot thank you enough. I will send word to Captain Bortol, as well as Pratt. I'm sure he'd love to know what the Gifted that showed up at his doorstep accomplished. Please, accept this. It is the least I can do to thank you.

Steps[edit]

  • Enter the tunnels beneath New Trismus. The entrance is located past the inner gate, in a small path in the north of the Inner Deadlands.
    • It is a portal at 45617/15419(map).
  • Magic seems to hover in the air. Delve deeper into the depths and find out what lies below.
  • Face off with Uddorakh, the Ritual Master.
  • The pylons seem to be feeding magic into the forming Maggot Lord. Destroy the tentacles wrapped around them to stop the flow of magic!
  • Kill the Grasping Tendril.
  • Kill the Writhing Tendril.
  • Kill the Undulating Tendril.
  • Kill the Pulsating Tendril.
  • Return to Guard-Captain Zandra at the Cliffside Camp.
    • There's no exit from that dungeon. You need to recall out.
