Giltekh the Master Alchemist was so pleased with the results of the first potion by his lost love, Niesa, that he has decided to try making another one.
Quest text[edit]
Giltekh tells you, Ah, one of my favorite people back at last. Shall we continue our great endeavors together, <player>? There is no end to the potions we might create. I have been reading the journal of the love of my life, Niesa, once more and have come across another most intriguing potion. Perhaps you have an inkling of interest in it?
Giltekh tells you, Wonderful, wonderful! I call this one Niesa's Draught and it is a fiery potion that will change the world once again. However, I do not have the components needed to make this one and they are a trek from this camp.
Giltekh tells you, You will help, yes? Excellent! There are two components I require. The first is called Blood Fungus, a mushroom that grows on the Island of Fire to the south. The second is the heart of the Crimson Ravagers that roam the caverns of the same island.
You have gathered the Blood Fungus Caps needed..
Giltekh tells you, Very good, <player>, these ingredients will work very well. The Blood Fungus forms a base, of sorts, once it is dried and ground. The hearts we simply slice into strips and add them directly to the mixture; their internal heat is sufficient to create an alchemical reaction. *he claps his hands*
Steps[edit]
- Collect eight (8) Blood Fungus Caps for Giltekh from the Island of Fire.
- Collect ten (10) Undamaged Crimson Ravager Hearts from the Crimson Ravagers on the Island of Fire.
- Return to Giltekh at the Expedition Camp on the Island of Fire with the Blood Fungus Caps and Crimson Hearts
