Niesa, once a famed Alchemist, was enslaved by the Withered Aegis for many years. You came to her aid and created a potion that destroyed the Slave Bonds that tied her spirit to the Cabal. However, she remains one of the undead and now she fears retribution by her enslaver. Now you seek the whereabouts of the creature who imprisoned her. Your search has led you to Terry in Harro who encountered Falgut the Slaver several years ago.
Quest text[edit]
Terry tells you, That is my tale, <player>. To face Falgut the Slaver, to stand any chance of defeating him, you must first discover how to defeat the magical aura that surrounds and defends him. Else, you too will end up one of his slaves for eternity. I urge you to discover a way to defeat him! It is likely too late for my men, but it is never too late for vengeance. I would have it, either by my own hand or by yours!
Niesa tells you, It is good to see you at last, <player>. You have returned with news of my prison warden, yes? Others had encountered him before, of this I am not in the least surprised. But they say he is surrounded by a magical aura that ensnares its victims... That would explain much.
Niesa tells you, I have heard of dark magic such as this before, but had never seen it in use. We must determine how to defeat this aura, that much is for sure. I am sure there is a potion to counteract the effects somewhere in my books.
Niesa tells you, *she rummages through old, mouldy books, muttering to herself* no, not this one. Yes, maybe. No, Virascen would not have investigated magic so dark. Attikae maybe? no, no. Not evil enough. Braekel? Maybe. *she flips open a large tome, dust puffs from its pages* No, that won't work!
Niesa tells you, I can find no potion that will alleviate the effects of Falgut's Aura. So we must search elsewhere, <player>. Let me consider our options.
