Giltekh Framtor, Alchemist Extraordinaire, received a mysterious letter that indicated Niesa, his mentor and lover, may not be dead afterall. Your search for the letter's author led you on a long journey, but in the end you discovered that the letter's author was none other than Niesa herself in a prison at the edge of the Eastern Deadlands!

Quest text

Niesa tells you, Time is short, <player>, but where to begin. Ten years ago, yes. A decade ago, <player>, I came here to the Eastern Deadlands searching for rare catalysts and ingredients for my potions. I was, am, a Master Alchemist. One of the best or so some claimed.

Niesa tells you, I devised many powerful potions to benefit the Gifted and the war. But great power requires ingredients that are rare and valuable, things that are simply not found in common lands. So, I came here to the blighted lands, the former frontier, where everything is rare and valuable and dangerous to acquire.

Niesa tells you, What I did not know at the time, <player>, was that I was being followed. It would seem that the Withered Aegis also heard my claims, my boasts, and they followed and captured me soon after entering the deadlands.

Niesa tells you, I have been enslaved, ensorcelled, <player>, and my will is not my own. Oh, I can speak to you now, but only because the one who enslaved me is not here to direct my will. I cannot leave the deadlands and the further from this tower I go the weaker I get.

Niesa tells you, It took all of my power to reach the outpost and I fear I nearly died as a result. It was weeks before I could stand again, much less fight against my bonds with enough strength to think and speak.
