Having freed Niesa from her enslavement and having defeated her oppressor, Niesa has begun to remember much of what she had once known in life. She has promised to give you the recipe that she claims will deal a great blow to the enemy. First, however, you must help her finish her research.

Niesa tells you, The first of the reagents is one that I am sure you have never heard of. Both are components I have had to discover for myself specifically for this potion. There is a fungus that grows in these deadlands called Shadowstem. Perhaps you have heard of it?
Niesa tells you, For a potion that must interact with the Withered Aegis and their blighted magics, Shadowstem is a perfect ingredient. It contains a natural magical affinity to blight magic. Years ago I knew a cook who was toying with it for use in his foods, though I do not know if he ever found a proper way to clean and cook it.
Niesa tells you, For our purposes I found a way to grind it to a paste and it is that paste which we add to the brew. Go, gather ten Shadowstem Fungus Caps and I will grind them into paste for our potion.
Return to Niesa in her Prison with the Shadowstem Caps.
Niesa tells you, Very good, very good indeed. These caps will work nicely. Let me grind it into paste.
Niesa tells you, As you can see I have ground the caps into a smooth paste. This paste is the right consistency for our needs. Well done.

- Listen to Niesa
- Gather ten (10) Shadowstem Fungus Caps from Shadowstem Fungus that can be found in the Eastern Deadlands
- Return to Niesa in her Prison with the Shadowstem Fungus Caps
- Wait for Niesa to grind the caps into paste
- Speak with Niesa about the Paste
