Ancient Tombs across the Dalimond Peninsula have been desecrated by the Withered Aegis. You have located the Tomb of Ashlander Vandus and have now been ordered to enter the tomb by Bishop Ronae il'Tor.
Accepting this quest opens up access to the Tomb of Ashlander Vandus.
Quest text[edit]
Ronae tells you, Dragon Adventurer, are you prepared for the toughest part of your life as a Gifted? I trust it is so. For now you must return to the Tomb of Ashlander Vandus and enter it. This is no minor action, <player>, for the tomb is large and may be inhabited by foul denizens the likes of which we have never seen. I am ready
Ronae tells you, You say this, but are any of us truly ready for the unknown? Prepare yourself, gather your comrades, and then travel to and enter the tomb. Once you are inside, scout the three main chambers of the Tomb and slay the Ancient Tomb Guards. Return here to me when you have accomplished this so that we may fully know the layout of the tomb and its status.
You have arrived within the Tomb of Ashlander Vandus! The darkness is oppressive, but you can hear the sounds of movement in the distance. Someone or something is already here!
Ronae tells you, You found the chambers? And dispatched a good number of the Tomb Guards in the process? Well done, <player>. This is the first step and we have confirmed that the layout of the Tomb remains the same as when Ashlander Vandus was buried. No cave-ins or alterations by tomb robbers or the Withered Aegis. This is good and lets us plan our next step.

- Enter the Tomb of Ashlander Vandus
- Defeat ten (10) Ancient Tomb Guards within Ashlander's Tomb
- Locate the Chamber of Ages within the Tomb of Ashlander Vandus

- Locate the Chamber of Soul within the Tomb of Ashlander Vandus

- Locate the Chamber of Battle within the Tomb of Ashlander Vandus
- 820/44087(map)
- Speak with Bishop Ronae il'Tor at his camp just east of the Tomb near the road
