The Than'kuk Tribes have begun pushing into the Winter Vale. Their expansion is threatening to cut off the supply lines of the Gnomian Outpost. Rane Ogglestorm obtained your assistance and in the process you discovered an oddly magical club. Now, she is curious about its properties and sends you to the Tower of Magery to learn more about it.

Rane tells you, There is something we must discuss, <player>. I have been studying this club you recovered from the corpse of Grukhrage, that Than'kuk Chieftain. It is curious and gives me the chills each time I pick it up. But, I am not Wizard and certainly no Scholar so I think we should let someone with more expertise in the matter truly study it. Wouldn't you agree, <player>?
Rane tells you, Yes, I thought as much. Normally I would suggest sending you back to New Rachival with this and delivering it to the N.R.R.I. But, that is a long journey and fortunately for us there is a Mage of the foremost capabilities close by. *she smiles* Yes indeed, right above us on the Mage Tower! So, <player>, take this club and carry it to Eilen there in the Tower. If anyone can discover more about it, surely she can.

The energy is unfamiliar to me though and I am familiar with many types of energy. *she mutters to herself... I wonder. No, it couldn't be. But it might... It would know. Yes, it would*
Eilen tells you, *she looks up at you and seems surprised you are there* Oh, you are still here? Well, that is good perhaps. This club, I suspect its energies may be known to another in this Tower. Oh, you did not know there was another? Yes, of course there is. A Watcher, is what they are called. A Dragon, <player>. Go, speak with this Dragon and show it this club. You can find it at the very top of the tower.

Eilen tells you, It was Primal energy? Amazing. May I see the club again? The Watcher didn't return it? *she frowns* Indeed. Well, I shall have to think on this. You have my thanks, <player>, for you have given me something new to write about and study for the future. Here, accept this as a token of my gratitude. I have devised it just this past week.
