Ranger Calimir believes you are becoming a powerful ranger and wants to test you skills. He wants you to kill all of the named wolves in Istaria.

Quest text[edit]

Calimir tells you, Hail, <player>, you have returned and I have a challenge for you. You see, you have done very well fighting the Dire Wolves and you are becoming a powerful Ranger indeed. The Order of Rangers has taken notice of your rise and has asked me to test your capabilities. There are many types of wolves found throughout Istaria, not just Dire Wolves. The challenge is to find and slay the largest and most ferocious of each of them.

Calimir tells you, Slay them and bring their heads back to me as proof of the deeds. Take heed, I do not expect this to be easy and you may not be able to slay them all just now; you may need to gain some more experience first. Where are they you are wondering? I cannot give you precise directions for that is part of your quest, to locate these wolves. But when you have completed the deed, return to me and the Order has authorized me to teach you a new ability.

Calimir tells you, <player>, you have returned! Have you slain the wolves as the Order requested? Yes? Most impressive. Ranger, you have proven to me and to the Order that you are indeed powerful and trustworthy. As reward for your efforts, I have been authorized to give you this emblem and to teach you a new ability.

Steps[edit]

Kill Sinth the Jade Snarler. Sinth can be found in the forest known as Sanctuary Forest near the settlement of Desert Shore.
- Other than the quest says, Sinth is found in a deserted valley, just north of Desert Shore, around 22146/24270(map)
Kill the Crimson Ravager
Kill Skaahr the Icy Dire Wolf
Kill Icefang the Winter Mountain Wolf
Kill Nipper the Winter Wolf
