This quest is obtained when you 'use' the Partially Dissolved Relic.
You recovered a relic within the remains of the ancient horror that was partially dissolved. It emanates power and has strange markings on its surface.

The Ancient Horror appears to have emerged from a chamber beyond the wall. How it got there and how long it had been there are a mystery that maybe you should investigate!
As you inspect it, the Partially Dissolve Relic crumbles to dust...
You enter the chamber but it appears to be little more than a hole in the ground. The barricade was blocking a hole in the wall through which the horror emerged. Had it been trapped here? And for how long?
You spot a pile of debris in the corner, you should search it for more clues.
Though much of the debris has been shattered or dissolved by the horror, you locate an intact relic. You should speak with Tom Haught in Kaiyar, he may know more about it.

Let me see. It seems there is something inside. This must be a box, but I can't see any keyhole. There is probably a mechanism to open it. You should speak with Palko at the entrance of the main building: he likes this kind of riddle.

Under Tazoon? You have probably found a vestige of the Barasavian Kingdom. Tazoon was built on the ruins of this kingdom after being sacked by Dragons.
- Felip told me you could open the relic.
Felip was right: it is a box. Look carefully at the bottom of it: there is a button. But it is never that easy: this type of container always has a puzzle to be open. And I love puzzles. Let's try it!
See... you push this button, you pull this decoration, you turn this one... then you push the button twice... and... bingo! It's open. There is a crystal inside. Here, it's yours. Would you mind if I kept this box for my collection of puzzles?

Steps[edit]
- Explore the chamber beyond the wall from which the Ancient Horror emerged
- Search the pile of debris in the corner of the Ancient Horror's chamber for more clues. You will need a Istarian Army Knife or Dragon Intuition ability.
- Speak with Archaeologist Tom Haught in Kaiyar about the Intact Relic
- Go to the Guild of the Artifact Hunters west of Kaiyar. Speak with Felip at the entrance, he should know who could help you.
- Speak to Palko about the relic
