You recoverd a rare artifact from an ancient dragon ruin atop the Dalimond Ridge. At the Archaeologist Jorce Ammis' request you took it to Dennison Jadefellow in Dalimond to learn more about it. He is also interested in the ruins themselves and has sent you to look into the Dalimond Archives for information about the ruins.

Quest text[edit]

Dennison tells you, <player>, you must research these ruins so that we may learn more about the Dragons that lived there and of more interest, when they lived there. There may be much more to this ruin than we suspect! Go to the archives here in Dalimond and speak with the Librarians. They will assist you in finding the proper records.

You have located the Dalimond Archives! Each of the Librarians that tends to the Archives has an area of speciality so you will need to speak with each of them to ensure you find all of the necessary records..

Librarian tells you, Welcome to the Dalimond Archives, <player>. I am the Librarian of Ages, the primary historian of this Library. I study the Ages of Istaria. Fascinating, history. There is much that is not known and much that is closely guarded and kept hidden from others. Now, what brings you here? A dragon community on the Dalimond Ridge? Interesting. There is not one that I am aware of, but if there ever was it might be recorded in the volumes of the Ages of the Dragon or Warrior-King. There is much in this library that covers those periods, but you might search this volume first. *he pulls a large, leather-bound volume from one of the shelves*

You have received 1 The Age of Dragons: A Perspective.

Librarian tells you, <player>, do be quiet won't you? I heard your footsteps as you entered the building. Always this way with adventurers, sadly. *he sighs* Nevertheless, I am the Librarian of Magic. How may I assist you? You are seeking information about an ancient dragon ruin. Yes, you have come to the right person. The Dragons are magical creatures, they are, and so the information you seek will likely have been recorded in the histories of the magical arts. After all, it is from the Dragons that Humans learn magic. *he looks thoughtfully at the shelves then selects a dusty, metal-bound book*

You have received 1 Dragons and the Primal Magics.

Librarian tells you, Greetings, <player>. What can I, the Librarian of Races, do for you this day? You are seeking information regarding a dragon ruin are you? Well, then you have come to the right Librarian for I specialize in the history of the Living Races. Much can be learned from each of the races and their histories, though much has been lost. *she browses the spines of several titles on the shelf before selecting a particularly large and age-darkened tome* Yes, this is the one.

You have received 1 Dragonkind: From Drulkar to Helian.

Dennison tells you, <player>, by the look of you it appears you have returned carrying books from the Archives. *he chuckles* The Librarians know their business, Ranger. Now, let me study these.
