Long ago, Shaloth the Queen and her her people were given knowledge of nature and its finer details from the Dryads. Shaloth took this knowledge to make her people strong, but also used it to take what she wanted; to use everything she could hold and destroy anything else.

Shaloth the Queen is located deep in Dralnok's Doom, a cave under Delgarath. To get to her, go straight past Torkay, corrupted guards, the beetles, and then the scorpions. By the scorpions, go through the small hole through the wall. Run up the cliff straight in front of you, go by the crabs then turn left. Go straight past the crawlers and scorpions. Soon you'll see gatherer Mylocs, once you enter the big Myloc area turn left through the hole and go straight and you should run into the Queen. She is accompanied by Myloc Veterans and Myloc Hierophants.

Shaloth the Queen is needed for the Spell: Volcano Questline. The Empyrean Essence is gathered by using an Essence Siphon or Essence Harvesting (ability).

Combat Tactics[edit]

To damage Shaloth each group member must use the Galderos' Heart (Active) artifact. Lure the Queen to the very back of the cave where the chests are located.

Her Cohorts will respawn during the fight, and Myloc Hierophants will heal the Queen and each other. Recruit two fighters to kill them as soon as possible, best if they're able to stun the healers. You do not need the Galderos' Heart (Active) buff for the crowd management.

Shaloth herself is rather easy once you understand how the fight works. She will do heavy area damage from time to time, the healer should be prepared for that and cast his two group heals then. He should also ensure nobody is going too low on hp, otherwise the AoE will one-hit them. Rez up as soon as you can, and rebuff. Do not forget to recast your Galderos' Heart (Active) buff!
