Shau grieves for the wife he loves and was forced to kill. He wishes to assist her in the afterlife by providing her with items of strength to help her in her battles with Varrantoth and other Welger.

Quest text

Shau tells you, Taur-el's belt is a start, <player>, but she needs something else to help her fight in the afterlife. For many years my wife carried a great battle-axe, one covered in golden runes, that she named Kimak Torin. It means "Blood Drinker" in my language for it was said to have tasted the blood of hundreds of enemies.

• Truly?

Pride gleams in Shau's eyes at the mention of her prowess in battle.

Shau tells you, She was a fierce and strong wife! The axe, however, was not on her when she died. Did she have it when you fought in the arena?

• No, she did not.

Shau tells you, Then perhaps she left it behind before heading to the fight? If it is not there, I would speak with Angwu to see if he knows what became of it.
