Shau has vowed vengeance upon those who have wronged him and, by extension, his friend Angwu. Adept Korrakaus has been killed, but another betrayer, Troop Leader Tor'kas, remains at large and slated for death by Shau.
Quest text[edit]
Tor'kas was once a member of my own Royal Guard, but was defeated in ritual combat and lost his place. I did not know what had become of him after, but he must have landed on his feet and found a place within Varrantoth's Glory.
- He was a member of the royal guard?
Yes, and a most fearsome warrior too. Only the strongest or most cunning can find a place in my guard.
- Korrakaus said that the others were merely patsies
There will always be those who wish for power and believe the way to obtain more is to succor those who already possess it. Tor'kas is the one we seek and vengeance for Angwu will be ours! Now, go, seek him out. I do not know where he might be in the Ruin, but perhaps Zuyazu will know.
Welcome back, <player>. I am saddened and angry at what happened to Angwu, but these are the dangers of working against our leaders. What brings you back to me?
- I am seeking vengeance for those who betrayed Angwu. Korrakaus is dead, now I am seeking Tor'kas.
Tor'kas? Well, well... I did not know he was involved in that sordid business. How far the mighty have fallen, how far indeed. Tor'kas is a troop leader and can be found within his troop's camp in the southwestern part of the ruin.
Well, you are not dead... What news of Tor'kas?

Well done, <player>. Vengeance is sweet. Under normal circumstances I would ask your help in burying and honoring him, but I fear we cannot. His body has likely gone to feed the Priests' rituals by now. We can pray that vengeance speeds him towards Varrantoth rather than the void.

Steps[edit]
- Listen to Shau
- Speak with Zuyazu in the Ruin of Tazoon about Tor'kas
- Seek out Tor'kas Troop Camp in the southwestern part of the Ruin of Tazoon and kill the Troop Leader
- Return to Shau at his camp south of the Ruin of Tazoon with word of Tor'kas death
