Socketing

The Socketing technique allows to add a crystal socket to a tool, weapon, or armor item. Sockets can be applied post-creation by drag and drop the technique on the item, like Technique Kits. There are separate techniques and resource requirements for different items as follows to apply a socket pre-creation. Tiers 1 and 2 items may have one socket applied, Tiers 3 and 4 may have two, Tiers 5 and 6 is allowed three.

Alternatively to the on-creation applied socketing techniques, Melli sells Socketing patterns, which can be applied post-creation.
