Recover artifacts from the dead Pool to investigate their residual magic.

Librarian tells you, Yes, actually yes, look here. A note about a second, smaller temple. This appears to be a note about some sort of ritual, though the purpose is not entirely clear. A chalice, a ring, and... what is this? There is a note in here about the whole of the ritual being recorded in stone! This must be ancient magic indeed, <Player>. If you can retrieve these items, we may just lelarn the key to the source of power! you must return to the Dead Pool and seek out these items.
A gleam of light catches your attention, somehow shining through the murk of green that fills the air in this region. It is a ring, though on closer examination some of the stones are missing. Inside the engravings appear to be the same language as the scroll you found earlier. Best take it with you just in case...

You have found a tarnished goblet, made of silver, marked with the same writing as the scroll buried beneath a pile of bones...
You have looted 1 Silver Chalice.
The guardian which you just slayed carried a pack over his shoulder. Inside is a piece of stone carved with the same writing as the scroll. The stone is obviously cracked in half, however. Hopefully half a tablet is better than no tablet...
You have looted 1 Mysterious Stone Tablet.
Julius tells you, You've found them! I can't believe my eyes. The scroll you found earlier talks about these. I was able to translate most of it. I don't like to brag but it is lucky for you that you brought this to an expert in ancient languages. This scroll is obviously a more recent copy of an ancient text, but the writing is one I am well versed in. It is called Ogham and was used so long ago that few would even recognize it. But where is the other half of the tablet? You only found one piece? Well no matter. We can't all be like me, after all. This will just have to do. I have learned what the artifacts are for.
Julius tells you, I believe that someone in The Deadpool is preparing to recreate this ritual. That is why you found the items you did. We must learn more, <Player>. Return to The Deadpool. Observe the Cabal Apprentices. If someone is using them as part of the ritual to gather this power, then we must know that. In fact, do more than just observe them. Destroy them. At least 5. Killing the Apprentices may disrupt whomever it is that is working this ritual. Hurry, do not delay in killing the apprentices.
Having destroyed some of the Cabal Apprentices has hopefully caused enough of a disruption in whatever ritual was being worked on in the area to stop the gathering of power...

Steps[edit]
- Return to the Dead Pool. Search among the ruins and the Cabal Guardians for a chalice, a ring, and a stone tablet.
- Loot Gem Encrusted Ring.
- Loot Silver Chalice
- Return to South March with the artifacts you have found.
- Return to the Deadpool. Kill 5 Cabal Apprentices.
- Report to Julius that you have killed the Apprentices.
- Talk to Dreveon
