The spirits of fallen Dragons on the Chiconis Battlefield have become agitated and disturbed by some type of corruption. At Kaliphar's behest you ventured there and helped put many of the spirits to rest. But the corruption remains and is growing strong!
Quest Text[edit]
Kaliphar tells you, <player>, it is agreeable to see you again. I have been studying these shards you recovered from the revenants on the battlefield. They possess some very interesting properties that have allowed me to pinpoint a potential source of the corruption!
Kaliphar tells you, The magic is strong and it is necromantic in origin. There must be a necromancer of the Withered Aegis at work on the battlefield, <player>. Go there, seek it out and destroy it! Only then can our brethren be safe. Search near the Spire of the Fallen as its power may have drawn the Necromancer.
Kaliphar tells you, You found no necromancers at all? But you destroyed several of the undead known as Risen Adepts? Hmm. I sense no change in the energies of these shards. Surely there would be one if the adepts were the source. No, for all of your effort the Adepts must not be the source of the corruption.
Steps[edit]
- Listen to Kaliphar
- Seek out the Necromancer near the Spire of the Fallen on the Chiconis Battlefield (25075/21575(map))
- Kill six (6) Risen Adepts on the Chiconis Battlefield
- Return to Kaliphar in Chiconis with word of your failure to locate a Necromancer on the Chiconis Battlefield
