Speak with Scale-Guard Kerrak
The Saris helped the Sslik find a new home many years ago and protected this one's people until the Sslik were strong enough to protect themselves. For that, the Sslik will be eternally thankful and hold the Saris as friends. These Sslik's friends, however, can be... presumptuous. Lady Kendra feels that the Saris need to establish a garrison here to help the Sslik protect their town.
- The Sslik should protect themselves.
That is how Kerrak feels also, <player>! Kerrak has told the Lady that the Sslik are not kittens who need to be carried by the scruff! The Sslik are strong and will stand side by side with the Saris. Lady Kendra remains doubtful, and continues to politely hint that the Sslik should accept a garrison. Kerrak is determined to show Kendra and the Empire that the Sslik can defend themselves.
- How can I help?
Kerrak needs to assess the status of the town stores to ensure that there are sufficient supplies in the event of an attack. Weapons, armor, food, spells, these are the things that Kerrak is concerned there is not enough. Will <player> speak with others in town about this?

Kesh does not like to be questioned, but yes, this one has numerous spells prepared in case of emergency. Flame Bolt, Revitalize, Flame Ward, even a few Flame Bomb spells. Tell Kerrak that Kesh knows how to prepare for an emergency.
Speak with Sshranu the Alchemist
This one already knows what <player> is here for. Word travels fast in this town. Would <player> like to see the supply of potions? There are many. Tell Kerrak that Sshranu has depleted a supply of essence orbs, but there are more than enough potions.

Again? Arrrrgh! Yesterday Kerrak was poking around in here and complaining that the beef and pepper stocks were short. While Fillet was out getting those together, Sshranu came in and took half the salt rock to make into fireworks! Fillet has a stack of customer orders to fill and does not have time to go gather a load of salt rock just to make Kerrak happy! Fillet has heard that Salaqueel returned earlier today with salt rock. Would <player> speak with Salaqueel for this one?
<player>, Salaqueel does not supply the town with finished goods such as weapons or spells or potions. This one cannot help you.

Sshranu and Fillet are at it again? Hssss... Those two half-shells started bickering back when Fillet had the only grindstone in town. Sshranu got a second one, but this one suspects that they keep the feud out of tradition. Kaasha, give me strength to endure! Kerrak thanks <player> for the help.
