So you figured out what happened to Ted. He's Gone Fishin', that's what! The question is will you help him with his fishy needs, and an even bigger question is if he'll reward you if you do!

Quest text

Ted tells you, So you found me. Congratulations again. Believe it or not, I really am out here working, not just slacking off like Hoody thought! You see, I was chatting the other day with some friends, just an innocent conversation about fishing ability, no harm in that, right? Well, it seems the Commissioner's wife somehow got wind of this little chat we were having. Seems she thinks I'm some outstanding fisherman now. Though how that rumor started I'll never know.

Ted tells you, Anyway, she got me to agree to supply her with fish for this here festival. Twenty bluegill fillets! Can you believe it? Cleaned and prepared fillets, not just the raw fish! You look like the sort who'd help a guy out, actually! Bring me 20 Bluegill Fillets and I promise, I'll give you something in return.

Ted tells you, Well well, that's some mighty fine Bluegill Fillets, I must say! Might even think you're a better fisherman than I am, in fact! Don't suppose you'd like to prove that, now would you? See, seems I also agreed to bring her 20 Bass Fillets as well. But bass is a might bit harder to find than bluegill, I gotta say. I can do it, of course, but since you seemed to come by those bluegill so well, I thought...

Ted tells you, Look at that! Lovely, just lovely. And so perfectly prepared even. Makes my mouth water just lookin at them. Now tell you what. You take these over to the Commissioner's wife just up the hill there. I think I just hooked somethin here on this line of mine, so can't go right now. But let's keep it our little secret where these here fish came from, shall we? You do that for me, and I'll give you the pattern for that sign I hung up there, the Gone Fishin' one. That way you can put one up outside your tent too whenever you're off fishin just like I can!

Wife tells you, You have fish for me? Well how'd it come to be that you have the fish? Ted isn't makin the Gifted run as errand folk for him now, is he? That lazy bum! I'll give him a piece of my mind next time I see him, you betcha I will! I thank you for the fish. Wish I had something I could give you for them, but I'm so busy these days with the festival I haven't had time to even remember my own name!

Anywho... here's the pattern I used for the sign I posted up there. Works for both murals in dragon lairs and on plots, actually! Pretty easy to use. Just add it to the other stuff for making a banner and follow the directions here and you should be all set!.

Ted tells you, A piece of her mind, eh? Well, won't be the first time a woman's given me that, that's for sure. If I had put all them pieces of mind together, might have an extra mind ta call my own by now, if ya know what I mean.

Steps

• Ted promised the Commissioner's wife that he'd supply Bluegill Fish Fillets for the festival. But Ted doesn't want to go to the work of catching and preparing that much fish. Bring 20 prepared Bluegill Fillets to Ted.
• Now it is Bass Fillets that Ted wants. Seems this particular fisherman's mouth is about as big as the fish he's trying to catch. Bring him back 20 Bass Fillets and this time insist on a reward.
• Take the fish that Ted gave you, you know, the ones that you obtained in the first place, up to the Commissioner's wife at her home near the center of town. Just keep Ted's secret and he promises he'll reward you.
• The Commissioner's wife was none to pleased with Ted that you were running errands for him. Better go back and warn him and get your reward and clear out in case she finds him!
