Your search for the lost patrol led you to an abandoned camp where you discovered a living member of the patrol who had been wounded. At his direction you also discovered a now deceased member of the patrol who had been captured. This information was brought back to Sergeant Akkator.
Quest text[edit]
Akkator tells you, <player>, our next steps are clear. First, speak with the Quartermaster and obtain some supplies for both my wounded scout and for this lost patrol. I will see what I can do to mount a rescue. I'm not sure how, but I will do it by Niatha's Breath. I've checked the assignment logs, and that patrol was assigned to the northern part of the Eastern Deadlands, known to be among the more dangerous of the areas. My suggestion is you start there when you begin looking for them.
Niiketz tells you, Greetings, <player>, your exploits are known to me. Sergeant Akkator has authorized the disbursement of supplies for our Wounded Scout as well as the patrol thought lost. I will admit that I am not in favor of this decision as supplies are running dangerously low and I have received no word about resupply.
Niiketz tells you, Nevertheless, an order is an order so here you are. Tread carefully for there will be no further disbursements from this outpost's depot.

Wounded tells you, Hello again, <player>! I feared you might not make it back and more patrols passed this way in the hours since your departure. Did you locate my friend? Dead you say? *she buries her head in her hands* A dark day... a dark day.
Wounded tells you, *She looks up at you, tears staining her cheeks* I thank you for the supplies, <player>. And hearing that the Sergeant is mounting a rescue provides a glimmer of hope. You are now on the hunt for the other lost patrol? Best of luck, my friend, may Istara watch over you.

Aelin tells you, Are you a phantom or an enemy in disguise? No, I don't think so. You have the look of one of the Gifted about you. Who sent you? Sergeant Akkator, the name is not familiar. He is the commander at the Eastern Outpost now, is he... Well, well!
Aelin tells you, *she calls out* My comrades, we are found at last! <player> here has brought supplies and all is not lost. Rejoice, but remain on guard! *she turns back to you* Friend, we thank you for the supplies. It has been long since we saw a friendly face and we despaired of ever seeing our friends and families again. With these supplies, we can make our way safely out of this horrid place. And I suggest you do the same as quickly as possible.

- Speak to Quartermaster Niiketz about supplies
- Deliver the Supplies to the Wounded Scout
- Talk to the Wounded Scout
- Locate the Lost Patrol in the Eastern Deadlands. Sergeant Akkator told you to stay on the paths and look toward the northern parts of the Eastern Deadlands, so that is where you should begin.
- Deliver the Supplies to Aelin, leader of the Lost Patrol.
- Talk to Aelin
