The Novo was a great machine which prevented a massive onslaught of the Withered Aegis on Istaria more than a decade ago. Luciano is concerned to know the Withered Aegis is collecting parts of the Novo made by the Vielo themselves and wants you to discover what they plan to do with them.

Quest text

We must discover what the Withered Aegis is plotting with the pieces of the broken Novo. We need more clues. The first thing to do is to discover where they transport them. Return to the machine, hide and wait for their agents. Then follow them to their hideout and collect as much intelligence as you can.

You notice a ledge above the vestiges which could be a perfect place to spy any suspicious activity.

You have found a suitable place to watch everything without being seen. Now, you can just wait.

Something has moved on your right...

It seems to have found what it came for and is now leaving. Follow it to its hideout!

You have found a cemetery you had never seen before.

The Undead has vanished! Where did it go?

There isn't anyone here. You notice an opened sarcophagus which looks out of place.

There is a hidden path in the sarcophagus!

You arrived in a large corridor.

You notice a mysterious machine at a distance. It's large with a red crystal inside and some of its pieces are hovering outside of the machine.

You have been magically evivted from the underpass! Return to Luciano and tell him what you have seen.

Glad to see you, ungrel. Have you been able to find where the Novo parts were brought?

• They have taken them to a hidden underpass in a crypt.

Using a graveyard seems logical for the Undead. Have you found anything else?

• There is a large machine in this place. A sphere with a red crystal inside it, surrounded with columns. Some of its parts were moving and hovering in the air. But when I wanted to approach it, I was evicted from this place.

Beside the red crystal, that's the description of the Novo! Has the Withered Aegis really built a Novo machine?

I don't know what they want to do with it, ungrel, but it sounds serious and very concerning. I need to talk with our leader about it. Give me a while and return later.

  • He appears don at the debris
• Follow the Undead!
  • He will run towards Bristugo on the road
• Enter the crypt

• Search for the Withered Aegis agent
• Examine the Sarcophagus
  • Walk to the opened one.
• Going deep...
• Enter the Sarcophagus
• Follow the path
• Examine the machine
• Return to Luciano and reports your findings
