Ghent the Alchemist has developed a formula for making a potion that harnesses the strength of the mylocs, or so he thinks. He's agreed to give you a copy if you'll be his test subject.
Quest text[edit]
Gaileach tells you, Ah, <player>, the slayer of the myloc queen! How proud you must feel of all you have accomplished. Just last evening I was speaking of your deeds in the tavern. My friend Ghent mentioned that he'd been doing some research into the mylocs, and thought he'd found the secret to their great strength.
You know Ghent, yes? He teaches Alchemists such as yourself how to make potions and elixirs of all types. Rather powerful ones, if I understand correctly. You may wish to travel to Aughundell and speak with him.
Ghent tells you, Oh yes. The myloc research. It's been quite promising of late, actually.
I believe I have developed a formula that will allow me to create a potion that harnesses the strength of the myloc. You see, the key to their strength lies in their blood.
If you bring me a sample of the blood of a Myloc Hierophant and the heart of a Myloc Harbringer, I will test the formula one final time. If I succeed, I will share with you one of the very first copies of the formula!
Ghent tells you, Let me see the samples. Yes, yes. These will do just fine. You are obviously experienced at collecting samples.
Give me but a moment to complete this potion and we will see what happens.
Ghent tells you, It works! Or, well, it seems to have worked.
Here, let me give you a sample. You can be my test subject... I should say, my first customer!

Ghent tells you, Ah, see, that wasn't so bad! It actually worked.
I mean, of course it worked. I knew it would all along! Here now, this is the formula. You can make these for you and your friends now with it.
Now off with you. I need to see if I can modify the formula to create a potion which will harness the focus of the Myloc Gatherers now. Those creatures are simply incredible!

Steps[edit]
- Speak to Ghent in Aughundell about the myloc's strength.
- Bring Ghent a Myloc Harbinger Heart and a Myloc Hierophant Blood sample.
- Wait while Ghent refines the samples you provided him and combines them with the potion.
- If you are feeling brave, drink the Elixir of Myloc's Strength that Ghent gave you. What's the worst that can happen, right?
