The particular wolves you are looking for are near Dalimond Ridge. There's a small snowy area up that way that the winter wolves with their thick pelts wander around.

Kill 20 Winter Wolves found on Dalimond Ridge, Abandoned Island, or Scorpion Island. Their pelts are needed for making warm gear for travellers.
In the foothills of Dalimond Ridge Mountains you will find a small pack of winter wolves. They are highly aggressive, and so you should proceed with caution. But here's the thing... Their pelts are some of the thickest in Istaria. And I have some adventurers in need of them. So would you travel to there, or either Abandoned Island or Scorpion Island, and hunt down 20 of the wolves and bring their pelts back with you?
Game Feedback: There are many more Winter Wolves that need to be killed, but for now, head back to the Dalimond Town Marshall and collect the reward for killing these.
Return to the Town Marshall in Dalimond for your reward.
