Lumberjack Barvos Tan is having trouble with the ulmus beetles; they're gnawing on all of his trees! Chewed wood isn't usable by lumberjacks nor by the tradesmen who depend upon it for their goods.

Ahoy there, welcome to Sable Shores! I knew I recognized your kind... you know... one of the Gifted! I could spot one o' you a mile away, sure could. I'm very pleased to meet you, <player>. I see fewer folks these days since my brother and I moved out here to the Sable Shores.
Oh, we used to live in Dalimond. Its a great town, for sure! But, when the Dryad began regrowing the forests we decided to move here; More trees, you know? And more trees is a lumberjack's dream! And that's what my brother and I do; Cut down trees for wood. *he sighs* But that is also part o' my problem.
You see, the return of the forests also brought back many o' the beasts that once lived nearby. The ulmus beetles, they came back with a vengeance! They're small, but they can chew up a tree in no time flat. Nobody wants boards made from wood that has been gnawed upon... would you? So, could you do me a big favor, <player>? Go kill a bunch o' them for me! I'll make it worth your while.
Good day, <player>. Please excuse my brother, he loves to talk. *he laughs* He'll talk your ear off, given the chance! Myself, I prefer the axe striking wood over a long conversation. Plenty of trees about, ever since the Dryad returned... Thats why my brother and I are out here!

- Kill ten (10) Ulmus Beetles for Barvos. The beetles are found between the forest and shore to the north of Sable Shores.
