Thurid tells you, Yes, yes, who are you now, and what do you want? What? Tomas sent you? I asked him to send me someone to help me. You don't look hardy enough to handle the task, so what could you possibly want

Thurid tells you, What? A note you say? Well, what are you waiting for? Give it here.

Thurid tells you, Mmm. Yes. Alright. I suppose if Tomas thinks you're up to the task then you'll have to do. Though I wonder if that youthful head of his has the wisdom he thinks it does. You young people always think you know everything. Did I ever tell you about the blockhead apprentice I had who was too lazy to climb the stairs in the tower? Well no, of course I haven't told you about it. We've only just met! Remind me to tell you sometime. Now, where were we? What is it you want here anyway?

Thurid tells you, Oh yes, thats right. We were discussing how unfit for the task you seem to be. Well, here's your chance to prove this old man wrong. I need some reagents to continue with my research. As you may know, I'm playing with fire. Heehee! Actually, I'm trying to harness it. It needs to be channeled into these techniques Tomas keeps prattling on about. Something about some old archer if I remember right. Anyway, the power involved is quite extraordinary, so I'll need reagents of the utmost capacity.

Don't tell me you haven't heard of it! I sure hope you haven't spent all your time traipsing around any of those blighted islands off the coast of Lesser Aradoth! You'll not learn anything there but how to make a mockery of your skills, thats for sure. Do you think thats how I learned to become an Archwizard? No, of course not! Bah! All those little whelps vacationing out there, then coming back and calling themselves Adventurers! Ha! In my day, things were very, very different I tell you. Why, I should tell you about that pompous little urchin from Tazoon that went shooting his mouth off not too long ago. Have you heard about him? No, probably not, but that's a good story. But here I am going off about stories again. What were we talking about?

Thurid tells you, Oh yes of course, the reagents. Head to the Volcanic Island of Fire. There you should be able to find all the ingredients I need. Now, all of these must absolutely be as fresh as possible, so you must gather them as quickly as you can. Don't go trying to purchase them from someone else. You'll never know how fresh the reagents will be then. Besides, Tomas says you're capable of this, so you better not let someone else do this work for you. Now, be off with you. Go go go!

Thurid tells you, You gathered everything on my list? And you haven't got any new holes in you, do you? Good, good! Oh, and my list too. You've still got my list don't you?

Thurid tells you, Eh, the list doesn't really matter anyway. I know what I need to work with. I was just checking to see if you'd actually follow instructions. Well, I have my answer now, don't I? Anyway, here's what I need you to do now.

Thurid tells you, Before you go, be a good Human and help me get these reagents set up. I'll keep the reagents, and you'll need to use this crystal while I begin the incantation.

• Gather 5 Giant Flame Beetle Mandibles
• Gather 5 Fire Opal Golem Chips
• Gather 5 Fiery Dire Wolf Fangs
• Gather 5 Giant Fire Beetle Mandibles
• Return the reagents to the Archwizard
• Help the Archwizard prepare the reagents for study
• Go let Tomas know that the Archwizard is continuing his research.
• Speak with Sindenis to let her know the latest developments with the Archwizard's research.
