Acolyte Miry wants you to help allies around the island to show how good you are.

Quest text[edit]

Miry tells you, Welcome to New Trismus, Elteria. It's good to have another cleric here, there are so many wounded these days and so few of us. Here is the real battle.

  • What can I do to help?

Miry tells you, I like your enthusiasm. That sort of attitude will take you far. As a cleric, you have a duty to protect others and you can do that by fighting the enemy or healing your allies. I want you to do a bit of both. Go out and defeat five brown wolves for me. While you are out there, heal yourself or any friends you might come across with Instant Heal four times.

You have defeated the wolves! Return to Acolyte Miry once you have used Instant Heal enough times.

That should be sufficient training. Return to Acolyte Miry once you've killed enough wolves.

Miry tells you, Good, there you are. I could hear the yelps from the wolves as you defeated them. Were you able to practice your healing?

  • Yes, though I could use more.

Miry tells you, Yes, that is always how it is. The war makes it even more challenging, you could spend all day every day healing the wounded, I fear, but in the end it might not be enough. For all of us, death is inevitable. For one of the Gifted, like you, however, it is merely an inconvenience... Albeit a painful one I suspect.

  • What do you mean?

Miry tells you, You are bound to the Prime, Elteria. When you die you will return to this plane, to one of the Shrines scattered about the world. Death is merely a delay, nothing more. Though, be wary, for as you grow stronger, the impact of death is heavier, more meaningful, upon you.

  • Heavier?

Miry tells you, I have heard Gifted call it a penalty, but it sounds like a curse to me. Death, especially more than one in a short period of time, may cause you a great weakness. Avoid it, if possible, though I have heard that eating food in taverns can lessen the effects of this so-called penalty. No matter, you have no need to worry about it until you grow stronger. (Hint: Adventure rating of 20 is when the death penalty begins to apply)

Steps[edit]

  • Speak with Acolyte Miry.
  • Defeat five (5) Brown Wolves in the forest south of the main town between it and Trueheart Rise.
  • Heal yourself or your allies four (4) times with Instant Heal.
  • Return to Acolyte Miry.
