Kerian has her claws full dealing with all of the new crafters trying to learn from her and needs some assistance creating the actual weapons and armor that dragons in New Trismus need.

Greetings, hatchling. What do you need? Claws, scales, spells?
Hah! I wish I had them, too, young one. Look, with all of the younglings like you coming to me looking for assistance in learning craft, I've had almost no time to produce the actual supplies we need. I can't take on any more apprentices - at least not until they learn to make their own gear! Unless, that is, you actually want to get your claws dirty and help me put together some gear.
Good, good. It seems you'll come in more of use than the other lounging lumps around this town. All of them have it in their head that just their bare claws will win this war. Let me tell you, hatchling - you won't make it a tail's length into the true battlefields of this world with nothing but your bare claws and uncovered scales.
Let's test your skills. Take this formula for beginner strength chest scales. Go out and make me three Sandstone Chest Scales. You should know how to by now... unless you decided to make off down Skalkaar without talking to anyone first. The sandstone on this island is on the far southern tip. Follow the path south out of this ruined heap and keep running along it until you hit some spider nests and a lake.

- Using your new formula, craft three (3) Sandstone Strength Chest Scales for Kerian. If you lose the formula, there are more available for purchase from Kerian herself. The Sandstone is on the southern tip of the island of New Trismus, nearby a lake.
- Return to Kerian and listen to what she has to say.
