Unknown Artifact

The presence of Queen Shaloth in Dralnok's Doom has been confirmed, and a strike at the very heart of the Colony was executed. An artifact was discovered within the Colony chambers and Gaileach has sent you back into the darkness to search for others and perhaps a means of striking at the Queen herself.

Quest text

Gaileach tells you, <player>, the discovery of the Golden Torc confirms my belief that my own people, led by Meira, hid artifacts of great power in the caverns many years ago, before our exile. If my suspicions are correct, then there is a good chance that there are other artifacts still hidden or discarded in the darkness of the Myloc Colony.

Gaileach tells you, You must descend back into the depths, Ranger, and search the colony for additional artifacts which may further our cause. The first place to search would be treasure chests, probably one that is very ancient, for I hear they are scattered about down there in the Darkness. Be careful that you do not engage Shaloth, for she will surely defeat you without supernatural aid! Alyssa's Grace Be Yours and Galderos' Might Aid You.

Gaileach tells you, You have returned. Was your search successful, <player>? It was?! Well done, well done indeed! Perhaps there is hope yet. But let me see this artifact you have discovered. Do you see how it appears to be shaped like a heart? Hmm. An odd artifact indeed and something about it tickles my memory, but I cannot place it.

Gaileach tells you, Now, we must clean it up and attempt to identify it. Only then can we hope to activate the artifact and make use of its power, if any such power remains.

Steps

• Listen to Gaileach
• Descend into Dralnok's Doom and Search the Myloc Colony for ancient treasure chests that may contain additional Artifacts
  • You need an Adamantium Key to be able to open the chest.
  • The Ancient Chest may be found at one of the following places in The Doom's Myloc colony:

    8039/46763(map), in the queen's tunnel

    8409/46924(map), the northwest tunnel of the Myloc colony

    8594/46954(map), the north tunnel of the Myloc colony

    8917/46891(map), the northeast tunnel of the Myloc colony

    8967/46666(map), the east tunnel of the Myloc colony
