You have grown strong on Lesser Aradoth and Gerix, your teacher, no longer feels that he can adequately teach you. He now wants to send you to visit the great cities of Dragonkind - Chiconis, City of Crystal, and Dralk, City of Flame.
Quest text[edit]
Young one, come closer. It is time for you to leave the protection of my wings, <player>, and to venture forth into the world once more. The island of Lesser Aradoth, on which we currently stand, lies off the western coast of the continent of Aradoth. Long ago our people built two great cities on that continent, one in the north and one in the south.
- Do I get to visit them?
You will visit both, in time. The city in the north is known as Dralk and is the city of fire because it lies within a volcanic region. It is home to the Followers of Malganival Lunus as well as the ancestral home of all Dragons. Unfortunately it is also a great distance from here.
- What about the other city?
Yes, that city is closer and is called Chiconis, the city of crystal. Home to the Followers of Helian, it is found to the east within the Granitefall Mountains. I mention both of these cities because it is time for you to leave this place and travel east to seek out additional training from the Masters who reside in Chiconis. There you will continue your training, but, Young One, the road to Chiconis is not an easy one.

You are, of that I am sure. I would have you speak to Clerash once you arrive and ask for a tour of the city. Once you have completed your tour return here to me in Kion. However, I wish for you to travel to the city quickly so I am giving you a travel scroll that will teleport you to Chiconis in an instant.

Founded centuries ago by Helian herself, Chiconis serves as a center of learning and magical research here on the continent. I would encourage you to take a tour of the city to gain your bearings. -continue-
There are many residents of the city you should meet, but I don't imagine you want to spend a week speaking to each and every one of them. Plus, some shouldn't be interrupted or might become annoyed if you disrupted their studies. There are six I would encourage you to speak with. They are: Warlord Sandava, Baltorros The Hunter, Nalithess the Quartermaster, Resiata the Scalecrafter, Periadan, our local tradesman, and Witzel the Golden. Sandava can be found on the island above you, along with several other trainers. -continue-
Regardless, you should most certainly speak with Semeneth the Ancient, the leader of the Followers of Helian.

I am Semeneth and if you are dedicated enough you and I may speak again one day as you begin your Rite of Ascension. In the meantime, I encourage you to pay attention to what your elders tell you, learn quickly, practice enthusiastically, and I am sure you will be back here in no time. Indeed. Well, young one, welcome to the city of Dralk, city of fire, ancestral home of Dragonkind, and home of the Followers of Lunus. Dralk is home to the Gate of Embers through which you may one day pass in order to Ascend as well as the Council of Elders, a group of some of the most respected Dragons. <player>, I would encourage you to take a tour of the city to gain your bearings. -continue-

Before you leave town, however, you must present yourself to Valkoth the Ancient, leader of the Followers of Lunus. Valkoth is rather elusive at times, but can typically be found north of town in his lair.

- Use the travel scroll to travel quickly to Chiconis. Once there, speak with Clerash the Town Marshall
- Speak with Clerash, the Town Marshall
- Speak with Semeneth the Ancient in Chiconis
- Speak with Clerash the Town Marshall in Chiconis when you are ready to proceed
- Use the travel scroll to travel quickly to Dralk. Once there, speak with Grulnar the Town Marshall
- Speak with Grulnar the Town Marshall
- Speak with Valkoth the Ancient in his lair in Dralk
- Speak with Grulnar the Town Marshall in Dralk when you are ready to proceed
- Return to Kion and speak with BattleMaster Gerix
- Speak to Commander Devins of the Kion Militia about his need for help
