Quest text[edit]

You have returned, <player>, and you appear ready to continue your training. The ability to heal one's-self is a most useful skill, is it not? You already know how to heal yourself, don't you? Yes, the refreshing breeze!

Indeed, and if you step out of combat and have time to slowly heal then it is most useful, but what if you are in active combat? A breeze will not heal you fast enough to overcome the attacks of your foe, will it? No, it does not!

Primal Instant Heal will give you the capability to heal yourself while in combat! I would give it to you, but by ancient tradition you must prove yourself worthy of my training. How do I prove myself worthy of training?

As crass as it may seem, I have a desire for some gruok flank and I would like for you to collect it for me. There are wild gruok to the south of Kion in the forest. Take the road up the side of the volcano or through the South Gate and you will find them. Kill them and use your ingenuity to recover eight sides of raw gruok from their carcasses. Return here to me when you have it.

Well done, <player>. Yes, give them a little char and they will taste like perfection! There is nothing quite like a good flank of gruok, is there? I wouldn't know. What about my training?

Oh yes, your training. My apologies, I was thinking with my stomach and not my head. Those gruok can pack a punch if you aren't prepared, whether they gore you with their tusks or go into a bit of a frenzy. You appear to have survived without any serious wounds. Well done, <player>, now let me show you what you came for, the power of Healing!

Steps[edit]

  • Speak with BattleMaster Gerix
  • Using Intuition, collect eight (8) units of Raw Gruok from the Wild Gruok south of Kion. You can find them in the forest through the South Gate, past the lava and undead, or up the path on the slope of the volcano.
