Ruxus can be found in on Abandoned Island, along the Sable Coast, and on Scorpion Island. Collect the Ruxus Skulls and bring them back to the trophy hunter in Dalimond or Chiconis.

Bag 100 Ruxus Skulls and return to the Trophy Hunters in Dalimond or Chiconis.
Rumors have it that the southern coast of the Abandoned Island is crowded with Ruxus, but I've never found the portal to get there. Instead I just hunt the ones on the Dalimond Ridge near Chiconis.
Excellent work, <Sir, Miss, Master>! These trophies will do fine! I was worried that you might not come back in one piece. Haha, I guess you do make a great <Adventurer School> after all.

- Bag 100 Ruxus Skulls and return to the Trophy Hunters in Dalimond or Chiconis.
