Metallic Flask (Filled), Purified Pale Essence Orb, Silver Bar

You have recovered Holy Symbols from the four human tombs on the Dalimond Peninsula and have protected sources of great magic. The Clerical Order has deemed it necessary for you to learn to create your own Symbol of Life to assist in your own magical development.

Quest text[edit]

Adan tells you, <player>, the Archbishop has deemed it time for me to assist you in learning more advanced magic. So together you and I will create a Symbol of Life. Similar to the Symbols of Istara you have recovered, the Symbol of Life is applied to your chest armor and will assist you in your future endeavors.

Adan tells you, But, the Symbol of Life is not easy to create. It takes time and patience and several difficult components. That will be your first task, <player>, to gather the necessary components. For the Symbol you will need 10 Purified Pale Essence Orbs, 1 Flask of Blessed Water, 1 Flask of your own life-blood and 10 bars of Silver.

You have received 1 Metallic Flask (Empty).

You have used the Metallic Flask to draw out your own life-blood!.

As the Bishop speaks he takes the components you gathered and begins to work..

Adan tells you, Good, <player>. Yes, these components will do very well. Now, it was no easy task to gather these, was it? I will take those off your hands and begin preparations. The Blood represents your willingness to sacrifice of yourself for others. It is combined with the water and then with the orbs to produce a magical bath.

Adan tells you, The bars are then melted to form a mold which is then cooled in our new magical bath. And then finally we chisel and shape the result into a Symbol of Istara who represents Life and Peace. The end result can then be applied to a tunic or chest armor and will protect you.

As he finishes speaking he pops the newly minted symbol out of its mold, polishes it quickly with a rag, and hands it to you with a smile..

You have received 1 Armor Tech Kit: Symbol of Istara.
