Now that you know your way around the town, Pratt wants you to find the other dragons on the island.

Quest text[edit]

Speak with Pratt.

As you've learned from Skalkaar, dragons have two primary schools - their adventure school, Dragon Adventurer, and their trade school, Dragon Crafter. As you progress, you will find that there are a few other trade schools offered by your kind, but not here on New Trismus.

  • So will I no longer have to speak with you naka'duskael after this island?

No, <player> - that is not what I mean. Your kind has specific thoughts on "lesser" races, as you call us, but while the Aegis remains a threat, both of your factions have allied with us against them as part of the Empire. However, your kind will offer unique training for you in the future. For now, I recommend finding and speaking to Avariatus and Kerian. They are the two dragons teaching hatchlings on this island.

Ah! More scale to harden. Welcome, <player>. I see our local human has given you the run-around already. Don't discount the naka too fast - they're quite useful to have around. They can never truly understand the prowess of our kind, however! Square those wings and straighten that tail, hatchling. What is your name?

  • <player>, Elder.

Seek out and speak to BattleMaster Avariatus, the Dragon Adventurer trainer. He trains hatchlings along the path between New Trismus Square and the portal to Skalkaar.

Don't "Elder" me, hatchling. I'm not ancient yet - 'sir' or 'BattleMaster' is just fine. <player>, was it? Well met. I will be seeing more of you shortly, I imagine. If you have not yet found Kerian, go seek her out. She usually hides in her little cave in the naka's town. *He seems to repress a snort.* Don't understand the appeal. She can guide you on making your own scales and claws.

What is it? Are we missing ores? Did another gnome get taken out by Avariatus' tail? Did- oh, hello, hatchling. New, are you? What's your name?

  • <player>.

Seek out and speak to Kerian the Wise. She makes her home in the crafting cave at the far western end of town, between the roads to the Ore Refiner and Cliffside Camp.

Well met, <player>. I am Kerian. I am the most knowledgeable Dragon Crafter on this island. If you wish to learn more of the trade, come back and speak to me. Otherwise - please leave me be. The naka of this island give me quite a headache with all of their requests.

Return to Pratt when you are ready to assist the Empire.

I see you found our resident dragons easily enough! You must have learned a lot from your trainers on Skalkaar, I imagine, but there is likely more for you to learn from Kerian the Wise and BattleMaster Avariatus. When you are prepared, speak with me again, and we will find your place in this war.
