Gerix will teach you more of the primal magics that all dragons are made from, but you must prove yourself worthy of teaching. You are being sent to the forests of Lesser Aradoth to seek out the Forest Crawlers and defeat 20 of them to qualify for training.

Excellent. As you are aware, I am bound by tradition to have you prove yourself worthy of the training I will give you. - Kill twelve (12) Forest Crawler Soldiers that are found in the forest south of the Kion Volcano. You can reach it by taking the road south of Kion and turning west at the Stone Circle or by taking the road west out of Kion around the northern end of the island.
- Return to BattleMaster Gerix in Kion to speak about your training
