Spiders and grulets are down - Trinket is having trouble finding your next foe, but she thinks she has an idea.
Quest text[edit]
Trinket tells you, Since you took down those spiders there's not many other things on the island that pose a threat to you. However, I still need to train you! I heard Lauri talking about small Grass Beetles down by the waterfall. I think they will make a good target for you! Small and hard to pierce - perfect.
Trinket tells you, These beetles do not hurt that badly, but have a tough shell that makes them harder to kill then the spiders. Crushing is best against them, but we don't have any arrows that can crush! This just means they are just perfect for you to use Power Shot on! Power shot is a special ranged attack that deals extra damage, but it requires a bit of time in between uses so you don't break your weapon. I want you to practice Power Shot at least once! Oh - one more thing.
Trinket tells you, Out there is a bigger and meaner beetle. She's the female and she's aggressive - you'll want to avoid her. To do that, use Long Shot on her smaller beetles to pull them away from her and keep her attention off of you. You've had this ability for a bit, but this is a good example of when to use it. Please us it at least once! Now go kill three of those beetles for me!
Steps[edit]
- Speak with Trinket.
- Kill two (2) Tiny Grass Beetles while avoiding the female. They roam the field by the shore to the north of Fortshire.
- Use Power Shot at least once.
- Use Long Shot at least once.
- Return to Trinket.
