Blarto sent the report back to Minisa. Minisa believes that something is going on in there and that this is where the ritual is probably centered.

Quest text

Blarto tells you, Minisa is worried, and well she should be. She has read more about the old rituals and believes, as I do, that someone in the Observatory is trying to reconstruct them. It is her belief that the stone statues you found are actually power sources. That they have been built, and activated through smaller rituals which tap into the very magical energy of Istaria itself. What we have yet to determine is whether this is the whole of the Aegis plan or if there is more happening. If only we had the other half of that tablet.

Blarto tells you, I realize what I am asking of you is very dangerous, <Player>. Probably more dangerous than anything you have undertaken as one of the Gifted, and it is possible that even with all your sills you will not succeed. But it is imperative that we know learn as much as we can of the Aegis plans. I need you to go to the base of the Observatory. Search the area and report back to me. I am certain that you will have to fight your way in, but perhaps in doing so you will learn more.

A stroke of luck! As you push aside the twisted remains of one of the awakened mechanics, your eye catches on something white under one of them. Carefully you move the debris aside and find what can only possibly be the other half of the tablet you found earlier! The writing is the same and it looks like it will fit almost perfectly with the first half...

Minisa tells you, What's this? Oh goodness! You found the other half of the tablet. This is good. Well, perhaps not so good. It is good for us that you've found it. But I am concerned at what this means though. Obviously someone, or perhaps some thing, has also learned what is contained in this tablet. I am certain now that they are using The Observatory to build a source of power. The only question now that remains is for what purpose. I believe the automatons are the key, the reason why such power is needed. Give me a moment to study this scroll and we will speak again.

Steps

• Blarto has asked that you make your way to the base of the Observatory and look for clues. Fight your way in as you do and you may find out something that will help reveal the Aegis plans.
• The discovery of the other half of the tablet is important enough that it should be taken to Minisa immediately. Leave your mission for Blarto aside for now and take the tablet to Minisa.
