Welcome back, <player>. I'm pleased to see you have grown in power and poise. Are you ready for your next adventure?

  • I am ready.

Have you ever heard about a place called Balit's Island? It's rumored to exist somewhere south of Dikaina Island, but nobody knows for sure. The seas surrounding it are tumultuous. Little is known about it as nobody has properly explored it yet. Some have tried, but either they have never returned or they have fled nearly as soon as they arrived on this island.

  • Why did they flee so fast?


Those who returned said the island was shrouded in an ominous thick fog and they heard spine-chilling howls in the mist. The sounds were so terrifying they immediately scampered off as fast as they could.

  • Would experienced adventurers be scared by a few wolves?

Well, those who returned weren't that experienced. The veteran adventurers are those who were never seen again and their fate is unknown to this day. I don't think they just heard a few wolves, <player>. I believe this island is inhabited by werewolves!

  • You're telling me. And I guess it is where you want to send me, don't you?

Exactly! You are Gifted, so death is merely an inconvenience for you and you have an uncharted place to explore. Isn't that exciting, <player>?

  • Even if I'm Gifted, dying is still an unpleasant experience. And how am I supposed to go there if it is an island lost in the middle of the ocean without any clue about its location?

You are in luck, because there is a teleport gate to Balit's Island on a small island south of the community of Selen. A long bridge leads to this desolated place. That said, nobody has tried to go there in a while. I'm not completely sure it is still functional.

  • A gate? But how? I thought nobody had explored this island, so building a teleport pad there...

I don't know. As far as I know, it has always existed. It must be very old. Maybe people went there, or lived there, and built a way to teleport to this island. Probably before this place became dangerous. So, do you want to explore it for me?

  • I admit you have piqued my interest. I will go.


There are two problems awaiting you. First, check whether the teleport gate still works. Second, nobody really knows what's going to await you on the other side. If you even get through, that is. Still interested?

Game Feedback: The gate is very old, but still functional by miracle. Some buzzing sounds are unsettling though. You wouldn't mind if a technician from New Rachival was to perform some maintenance. But you don't really have a choice for the moment: teleport to Balit's Island... hopefully in one piece...
