Grangus tells you, Dont get many visitors to the light house any more. Dont know why I even keep the light going. Dalimond use to be a busy port in the days before the lamant. Oh yes. Back in those days the seas were hospitable to sailing but not now. Now boats leave the port and never return.
Grangus tells you, Many years ago a fellow came to Dalimond determined to make it across the waters. He loaded up one of the last boats to be found and set off out of the bay. Two days later he washed up on the shore barely alive. The local healer tried to nurse him back to health but it seems the damage went deeper than just his body. He kept rambling on about how the water came alive and ripped his boat to pieces. Being at sea can do strange things to a person.
Grangus tells you, Poor fellow died days later. Not been anyone fool hardy enough to go sailing on the waters since that time. With no one sailing, the builders gave up building boats and moved on to other trades.
