Dragon Smelting is a Dragon-only crafting ability used to craft various tiers of metals.
The biped equivalent to Dragon Smelting are the Smelting Tongs.
The Dragon Smelting ability comes in 6 tiers. A new tier is earned every 20 levels. It is unconfirmed whether the tier of ability or the skill determines whether you can craft resources of a tier higher than your ability.
Crafting information[edit]
Dragon Smelting is most commonly used to craft metal bars from raw ore. To do so requires the use of a Smelter and the Metal Bar formula. Dragon Smelting can also be used to smelt or cleanse blighted metals using the Blighted Metal Bar and Blighted Metal Bar Cleansing formulas, respectively, with the aid of a Smelter.
Dragon Smelting is also used to make Lodestones, Laminates, and Engravings at a Smelter.
Dragon Smelting uses the Smelting skill to determine crafting efficiency.
