Learn the secret of Drulkars Wrath from Allathos

Quest text[edit]

Spirit tells you, Forgive me for saying so, my child, but the dragons of this age are much diminished from what we were in my time. Knowledge lost, power dissipated, and now the lesser creatures have even caused dragon to stand against dragon... So sad, to see our race reduced to petty factionalism in this way. This is why you need this. It is power, and power is your birthright. By mastering Drulkar's Wrath, you will begin to learn again what it is to be a dragon.

Spirit tells you, The secret of Drulkar's Wrath, and the right to wield it, has been reserved for the most powerful of ancients since the first of us followed great Drulkar to this realm. One must have mastered the deepest secrets of Primal magic, of course, but that alone is not enough. Only an ancient has the wisdom & control to be trusted with this power.

The spell itself is extremely simple, if you have the knowledge to understand it. Primal magic made this world, and primal magic can unmake it. A focused, trained will is capable of, just for a moment, unmaking a small portion of the world and returning it to the state of raw, unbound Primal magic - usually with devastating consequences to the target. Are you prepared to learn? Good. Now, observe...

Allathos's voice fades, but she is clearly concerned about something..

Spirit tells you, Once you select a target, you must understand that it... Wait, what... what is this...

Spirit tells you, I'm sorry, <player>. My thoughts... so many memories, I cannot focus. Give me a moment, please...

Spirit tells you, It is so close... I know it, I feel it. I know what it is that I must teach you. It is there, almost in my grasp, but then it slips away from me. Once more. Once more...

Spirit tells you, I am so sorry, <player>, but I can't do it. I must rest for a time. Give me a moment to collect my thoughts, and then I will be able to speak to you again.
