Captain Lindnottin is concerned about the state of things beyond New Rachival, to the north in particular as he has heard nothing from Granite Hills in weeks.
Quest text[edit]
Speak to Captain Lindnottin <player>, I am concerned about the state of things north of here beyond the valley. Earthquakes, strange lights and smoke reported from Tazoon, and no word from scouts or others in weeks!
Travel to the north and through the gap in the cliff walls there to Granite Hills. I sent a scout by the name of Ambar Teddlebat and have not heard back yet. Find him and assess the situation.
Locate and speak to Scout Ambar Teddlebat of the New Rachival Defense Force Good day, <player>, what brings you north? Captain Lindnottin sent you? Oh! My report... I forgot I'm ashamed to say.
The news is not good, I am afraid. Tazoon has suffered a calamity, some say an explosion, others speak of an invasion, a few speak of both. There are many who fled the city. A few have taken action!
Listen to Scout Ambar The Imperial Army established a camp just east of where we stand. You should speak with Sergeant Talbot there about how you can help. I'll get my report back to the Captain, don't worry!
