Sergeant Gortan needs your help to free captives that the Welger have taken during the invasion. They are scattered around the ruin and are often guarded by Gaolers.
Quest text[edit]
<player>, the Imperial Army needs your help. During the initial invasion and also in subsequent battles with the Imperial Army, the Welger have taken captives! These captives are being held and tortured! Some may even be used for sacrifices by the foul priests and adepts of the Welger at the Bloodwall. This must be stopped, <player>!
What must I do?
The captives are being held in cages throughout the ruin, in camps and strongholds of the Welger. Find these cages and free the captives. Bring each one back to me. Kill their gaolers as well while you are at it, <player>.
Steps[edit]
- Listen to Gortan
- Free six (6) Captives that the Welger have taken. They are found near camps or strongholds. You can only lead back one Captive at a time.
- Bring back the Captive to Gortan
- Kill eight (8) Gaolers that are guarding the captives
- Return to Sergeant Gortan at his hidden camp near the South Gate of the Ruin of Tazoon only when you have freed all the captives and when you have killed all the Gaolers.
