Now that the location of all the pieces are known it's time to retrieve them and put an end to this disaster waiting to happen. BattleMaster Talaurukar promised that he would provide backup so that you don't get overwhelmed by the Welger and requested that you retrieve the pieces of the Portal.
Quest text[edit]
Talaurukar tells you, Well, at least we know where the components are. We just need to figure out how to get them out of their nasty fingers... uh.. stubs... weapons? Each portal part seems to be in a precarious spot so it may require some effort. Just be sure you get them quickly, it's very important we get to them soon. I'll give you a whistle that will distract the Welger so it's easier to destroy them and their ugly hand weapon stubs.
Talaurukar tells you, We also need to get rid of the Welger in charge of starting up the portal, and smash the portal itself with these explosives. You might need some backup, so when you're ready just use the whistle. It will distract the Welger for a moment and give me and Kemalata time to aid you... yes, we put aside our differences and have agreed that this is far more important.
You have received 1 Draconic Whistle.
Step:Defeat three (3) Varan Librarians
You have destroyed the Varan Librarians. You pick up the humming Voltaic Module and put it in your scalepack. Get the Prime Matrix from the Priests near the Bloodwall next.

Step: Defeat three (3) Varan Priests
It's been an exciting battle, now it's finally time to retrieve your prize. It's time to retrieve the Tuning Crystal at the Smithies northeast of the ruin..
You have received 1 Prime Matrix.
Step: Defeat three (3) Varan Smiths
You have defeated the smiths and retrieved the Tuning Crystal.
You have received 1 Tuning Crystal.
Step: Distract Portal Master near wreckage You blow on the Draconic Whistle and confuse the nearby Welger!
After a fierce battle you have finally managed to destroy the Welger messing with the portal. The threat of them activating it again has become unlikely, but you still think it would be wise to destroy the remains of the portal anyway.
Step: BattleMaster Talaurukar and Kemalata have planted explosives
Talaurukar tells you, Go away from the gate, it's going to explode!
As the deafening sound of the explosion fades, you can hear an odd weeping. You look around and spot a ghost Hatchling Dragon wandering near the gate. Maybe you should try to talk to them.
Step: Speak to BattleMaster Talaurukar
Talaurukar tells you, What a strange hatchling. You should follow them. I'll keep the portal parts for you. I also take back my whistle: it is a memento and I only have this one.
The ghost is already far away, you should keep going south.
Still no sign of the ghost. Maybe they hide in one of the buildings which haven't been destroyed by the explosion.
The Hatchling Dragon ghost was hiding here. They seem a bit scared, but they should accept to speak with you now.
Step: Talk to Emisora
Emisora tells you, Sniff.. Sniff.. Why did you destroy the Sanctuary Portal, stranger? It's my dream to go to the Island that floats in the sky... now I'll never be able to! Why did you do this? That wasn't very nice.

- Listen to BattleMaster Talaurukar
- Defeat three (3) Varan Librarians near the Library in the Ruin to obtain a Voltaic Module
- Defeat three (3) Varan Priests or Adepts near the Bloodwall and obtain the Prime Matrix
- Defeat three (3) Varan Smiths at the Smithies in the Northeast corner of the Ruin to retrieve the Tuning Crystal
- Return to the wreckage of the Sanctuary Portal

- Distract Portal Master near wreckage of the Sanctuary Portal by using the Draconic Whistle near them.
- Defeat the Portal Master and his Crew
- Kill the Varan Portal Master
- Kill the Varan Mechanics
- Talaurukar and Kemalata plant the explosives
- Wait for your allies to sabotage the portal
- BattleMaster Talaurukar and Kemalata have planted explosives on the damaged Teleport Gate. Join them to a safe place before the blast!
