Dralnok's Doom (Chapter 3): The Relics of Kings

Lord Dralnok has been located, the Hammer of Kings recovered, but the Axe of Dorogath must be recovered. Gulnor the Elder has sent you back to the Deep to speak once more with the Spirit of Lord Dralnok and to try and trace down the fate of the Thom'Dorogath, Axe of Demons.
Quest text[edit]
Gulnor tells you, <player>, one final task awaits you. You must discover what became of the Thom'Dorogath. For this, I implore you to travel back into the Deep and speak once more with the Spirit of Lord Dralnok. Perhaps he can shed more light on the Axe and of where to seek it out.
Spirit tells you, Once again you have come to this place... I have little time and it is hard to focus, but I shall persevere while my people need my assistance. Brobbet and the Grand Tribunal call, but I shall not listen for now. <player>, one other Artifact of my house I brought with me into the Deep. I brought the Thom'Dorogath, the Axe of Demons. Oh, you know of the origin of this Axe? Most impressive, that you would know of our lore. The Axe has been the symbol of strength for the Dwarven people for over two millennia, it must not be lost forever.
Spirit tells you, Time is short, Dragon Adventurer, so I must hurry and finish my tale. A Fiend and friend of the Living Races also joined my expedition in Delgarath. His name is Ganesh Hulgrath... Yes, I see you have heard of him; One of the Protectorate itself! Ganesh spoke little on our journeys for he is a Fiend and they are reserved, especially around those not of their own race. But he did speak a little of his reasons for joining me on this expedition.
Spirit tells you, Latronicus, the leader of the Protectorate, believed that other Artifacts likely remained hidden in these caverns. And so he sent Ganesh to locate them and to keep them out of the hands of Torrin Macalir and the other Withered Aegis. It seems that the Artifact that Ryson Stormbringer detonated at the Battle of Tazoon had lain hidden in these dark caverns for many years under the protection of Meira the Dryad.
Spirit tells you, I am afraid even Ganesh did not know what Artifacts or how powerful they might be, but judging by the power contained within the Artifact detonated by Ryson at the Battle of Tazoon, it is possible that others of similar power remain. To have those fall into the hands of our enemies could prove to be our undoing!
Steps[edit]
- Speak with the Spirit of Lord Dralnok within the Deep
- Listen to Lord Dralnok
Tip: If you are alone, then just sprint past the Fallen Guards and Ghost of Dralnok. You should have just enough time to speak to the Spirit once (to complete the quest). Quickly greet him again and click the next quest in chat dialogue. Then recall before they have a chance to kill you ;) This will work exceptionally well if you happen to have Geleon's Master Scroll (no damage for 1 minute).
