Azulyte Crystals

Unfocused Azulyte Crystals are focused by dragons to be used in various crafts. These Crystals can be mined by dragons using the Dragon Mining ability and by bipeds using a Mining Pick. It can be focused only by dragons at a Crystalshaper using the Dragon Crystalworking ability and the Crystalshaping skill.

Azulyte Crystals can be used to create:

• Various consumable crystals using the Dragon Crystalworking ability at a Crystalshaper.
• Crystalline Lattice using the Dragon Lairshaping ability at a Crystalshaper.
• Dragon Cargo Disks

Beginner Azulyte Crystals (Tiers 1&2)

These Azulyte Crystals are focused from their respective unfocused variations using the Beginner Focused Azulyte Crystal formula, a Crystal Shaper, and the Crystalshaping skill (which must be at least the minimum skill of the material you want to work with). It is suggested that you use tools made from materials equal to or greater than the tier you are crafting with. The level range for the beginner formula is 1-40; at level 40, you may scribe the Journeyman formula.

Viridian Azulyte Crystals

The Tier 1 Azulyte is Viridian. It can be found northwest of Cedar's Cove and in the mine nearby, east of Garnet Bay, in the mine north of Sslanis, within the Kion Volcano, and within the mine and region south of the Kion Volcano. The best place to mine it is likely Garnet Bay or the mine near the Kion Volcano, as both are unguarded. Garnet Bay may have player-made structures nearby to help refining. The Kion Volcano location allows for the use of the Crystal Shaper to the south in the lair east of Parsinia, but that is a very long trek.

Cerulean Azulyte Crystals

The Tier 2 Azulyte is Cerulean. It can be found on top of the mountain on Scorpion Island guarded by Frost Beetles, on the western slopes of the Dalimond Ridge, east-northeast of the Tower of Clerics, and southeast of Chiconis nearby a lair with a Crystal Shaper. The Chiconis location is likely the best, even if it doesn't have many nodes - the nearby Crystal Shaper is very useful. There is no storage nearby, though.

Journeyman Azulyte Crystals (Tiers 3&4)

These Azulyte Crystals are focused from their respective unfocused variations using the Journeyman Focused Azulyte Crystal formula (you must have 400 crystalshaping skill to scribe this formula!),a Crystal Shaper, and the Crystalshaping skill (which must be at least the minimum skill of the material you want to work with). It is suggested that you use tools made from materials equal to or greater than the tier you are crafting with. The level range for the beginner formula is 40-80; at level 80, you may scribe the Expert formula.

Amber Azulyte Crystals

The Tier 3 Azulyte is Amber. It can be found south of the Great Battle in the mine, scattered throughout the northern Northern Deadlands, south of Linakis, southeast of Summit, and in the Ker'tis Mine. The best spot is likely the mine south of the Great Battle, since you're automatically attuned to Tazoon, which is the nearest port, and there is a Crystal Shaper right in the mine. However, there is no storage. Ker'Tis is very similar, but attuning to the nearest portal and the long flight or walk to the mine is just as, if not more, painful.

Titian Azulyte Crystals

The Tier 4 Azulyte is Titian. It can be found nearby the Lantenal the Hermit south of Char, south-southwest of Feladan, within and east of the Titian Mines, atop the mountain on the Saritova Islands, within the Meteor Crater, and on southern Werewolf Island. Once again, likely the best location is the mine, since it has a Crystal Shaper within it. Getting there may be painful, though, and may also require some skilled cliff diving, gliding, or flying. The location near Feladan is much closer to the nearest exit portals.

Expert Azulyte Crystal (Tier 5)

These Azulyte Crystals are focused from their respective unfocused variations using the Expert Focused Azulyte Crystal formula (you must have 800 crystalshaping skill to scribe this formula!),a Crystal Shaper, and the Crystalshaping skill (which must be at least the minimum skill of the material you want to work with). It is suggested that you use tools made from materials equal to or greater than the tier you are crafting with. The level range for the beginner formula is 80-100; at level 100, you may scribe the Master formula.

Crimson Azulyte Crystals

The Tier 5 Azulyte is Crimson. It can be found within and north of Drakul's Heart, southeast of the Chimneys, near the Titian on the Saritova Islands, and western Island of Fire (among Fire Opal Golems). If you are a dragon and can fly, Drakul's Heart might be the best bet - there are many possible player lairs nearby and also a portal at Kir'ignat. If you can't fly, it's possible the deposits on the Saritova Islands are best. Whichever way, it's a pain to gather and you will have to pick your poison.

Master Azulyte Crystal (Tier 6)

These Azulyte Crystals are focused from their respective unfocused variations using the Master Focused Azulyte Crystal formula (you must have 1000 crystalshaping skill to scribe this formula!),a Crystal Shaper, and the Crystalshaping skill (which must be at least the minimum skill of the material you want to work with). It is suggested that you use tools made from materials equal to or greater than the tier you are crafting with.

Violet Azulyte Crystals

The Tier 6 Azulyte is Violet. It can only be found in the Eastern Deadlands, in an unguarded horseshoe-shaped region near the south. It is direct east of the Thornwood Treants south of Harro, for reference.

Dark Azulyte Crystals

Dark Azulyte is a strange version of Azulyte Crystals. It's pitch black and spawns in all of the places that normal Azulyte spawns, among the other nodes. It exists only for crafting the flying dragon cargo disks. It cannot be focused and is just used to make Energized Azulyte, combined with any Tier's essence orbs. It can be mined from level one on and therefore can be classified as Tier 1.
