Yukon is terrified of the snow. Not because it is cold, or wet, but because of the monsters he thinks live in it. He's sent you out to kill monsters he calls winter's worst.
Quest text[edit]
Yukon tells you, I can tell just by looking at ya <player>. Yer just the sort of chap I been lookin' for. Ya see, my friend has a problem. Not me, no no. Yukon Cornelius wouldn't n'er have a problem like this. But my friend, well, he's rather embarassed ta talk about this problem in such a, well, public place, ya see. He's afraid to move into the house up yonder.. Ya see, he's afraid of the wolves. Hear's the crunch o' their feet, sees their black eyes glowin' against the snow, and it gives him the shivers.
Yukon tells you, But there's metal up there, and stone, or so he thinks. So my friend, he's willing to pay someone to clear out the wolves so that he can go mining and move into the house up there. Yes, that's what my friend is willing to do.
So, are you willing to help my friend?
Having cleared out some of the wolves around the house, hopefully now Yukon's "friend" will feel safer..

Steps[edit]
- Talk to Yukon.
- Yukon's friend needs your help clearing the area of wolves. Head up the hill and take out 20 of them before returning to him.
- Return to Yukon and report your success.
