Niesa, once a famed Alchemist, was enslaved by the Withered Aegis for many years. You came to her aid and created a potion that destroyed the Slave Bonds that tied her spirit to the Cabal. She has chosen to remain within the deadlands to subvert the Withered Aegis. However, she fears her decision will not be understood by Giltekh and desires you travel to speak to him directly.
Quest text[edit]
Niesa tells you, I have chosen to remain behind, <player>. I am still undead and few within the Living Races would tolerate my presence. I also have an opportunity to subvert the Withered Aegis activities and perhaps even learn some measure of their plans.
Niesa tells you, Giltekh, I fear, will not understand my decision and may even abandon me for good. I cannot travel there myself so I would ask that you do so in my stead. Take this letter and speak to him, please. I hope that he may understand in time, though I doubt that he could ever forgive me.

Giltekh tells you, So... She is free. I am... disappointed. Angry? No. Sad? Profoundly. How could I not forgive her! She remains every bit as determined and headstrong as she was in life, <player>! I would have rejoiced if she had , despite her condition.
Giltekh tells you, However, that she chose to remain and subvert the enemy is not entirely unexpected. It is in her character to strive to fulfill whatever purpose she has chosen for herself. And, unfortunately, she is correct when she says that others here in the west would not if she returned.
Giltekh tells you, *he sighs, but then smiles sadly* She is free. She lives, in a manner of speaking. I can write to her. One day perhaps I may even speak to her face to face once more! And for that you have my thanks. I can never repay you for what you have done for her, and for me, <player>. Thank you.
