Braekhis and Allanti have been requested to gather intelligence on the Ruined Homestead. Stewart Pratt McGrubben was hoping to be able to reclaim the ruins and clean them up so that they can be used to station more warriors on the frontlines.
Quest text[edit]
When you entered the Ruined Homestead you likely encountered ghosts. Allanti and I have been asked by Steward Pratt McGrubben to determine if the homestead can be reclaimed, but we've had difficulty coming up with a strategy with just the two of us. The spirit of Attor was a hindrance for sure, but you've taken care of that. Perhaps you could head back into the ruin and investigate?
- I could do that.
Truly? You would need to head across the path and back into the ruin. The place is haunted, of course, perhaps because of past events, but Allanti and I are interested in determining why it is haunted. Perhaps one of the ghosts there will reveal something, or there is some clue in the ruins themselves that will tell us something. I know we sound a bit desperate, but truth be told, we are. Destroy the ghosts and see if more appear would be the first thing for you to try. If none do, we can send in a crew to cleanse the area.
Head into the Ruined Homestead and try clearing out the ghosts. Kill ten (10) of them and see if that seems to reduce the overall haunting of the area.
Game Feedback: Having killed a number of the ghosts, it seems to you that their numbers aren't down at all. Perhaps you should return to the camp and speak to Braekhis.
Back so soon? I imagine you had some difficulty with the ghosts, they aren't easy to fight. Ghosts have a tendency to become incorporeal, rendering physical attacks ineffective.

There is, yes! Some of the information we'd sent to the Archives for has come back and is very interesting. Please give us some time to look over it some more and from there we will determine what to do.
