The howls of the Winter Wolves that echo from the nearby mountains are filling the night with the chilling sound. Jon requests your aid in bringing some peaceful silence by removing a few packs along with their alpha.

Good day to you, <player>! Tell me, surely you've heard the long reaching howls of wolves? Have you ever managed to get a good night's sleep during their echoing calls? The howl of the Winter wolves is enough to give chills to the bone while I fulfill my charge watching over the portal gate and crops. With that said, I have a favor to ask...
- What kind of favor?
Nothing too beyond your skill for a Paladin such as yourself! If you could scatter the packs by thinning out eight members of the pack. Killing two of their alphas should disrupt the pack for a while too. I'm certain it would give a night of peace and quiet for not only just me, but all the creatures of the island. You'd be doing me a favor, and of course rewarded for your time.
- I'll help silence the howls for you.
I knew I could count on you <player>! If you follow the path westward you will come across the entryway to the center mountain. Be careful as a tribe of Sal'guk have settled there and are not so welcoming to outsiders. You'll find the wolves just past the Sal'guk to the east. Safe journey up there!
Can you hear that, <player>? Nothing. The cries of the hunting wolves are silenced thanks to you, though I have no doubts new alphas will rise by next day. Please take these tokens as your reward, and consider coming back tomorrow if you would like to assist in keeping the howls at bay.

- Kill eight (8) Winter Wolves
- Return to Jon
