Settlements are towns that are owned and built by Gifteds. They are spread all around the lands of Istaria and may not even be reachable for weaker Gifted. Most settlements grow up beside resource areas, since folks are creating machines and storage buildings to create further crafted things they can use or sell. Guilds are usually working hard on their their own guild settlements, at more priviledged areas.
