The Hermit wishes to rid the Peak of Storms of the past.

Step: Speak with the Hermit.
<race>, welcome to my lair. I do not normally much like visitors; I live this far out for a reason! This is a unique time, however. You see, I have been... troubled, as of late. I am the gatekeeper for the link to the Peak of Storms, once known as the fabled Sleeper's Peak. As I watch over this link, I see the memory of Elial the Mercenary defiling the somber ground. It fills me with a rage I cannot describe, Gifted. A rage worse than when a clumsy hatchling fouls my lava pool! <He pauses.> It is important to me.
- What can I do to assist?
Step: Defeat the Memory of Elial the Mercenary ten (10) times.
Destroy him. Claw apart his ethereal form and send him back to the Rift. I wish to see him no longer and I wish to no longer hear about hatchlings being caught underfoot attempting to attain their wings. If you are not attuned, do not fear, for I will attune you.
Game Feedback: Lantenal makes some quick gestures, doublechecking your attunement to the Peak.
Game Feedback: It seems Elial does not truly disperse. His essence is bound to the area. No matter how many times his spirit is dispersed and laid out beneath you, he reforms before the sun rises again.
Step: Return to Lantenal the Hermit.
<player>, what news have you? I've been watching your efforts from afar. The portal is ever shifting so I can never be sure what I see.
- I am sorry, Lantenal, but it appears he cannot be truly destroyed.
Ah... I see. I feared so. I suppose it was insanity to believe you may simply beat him into nothing. Perhaps there are other ways to purify the peak and rid dragonkind of this dark shadow. Leave me to my lava. I want to think.

- Return to Lantenal the Hermit.
